An Amazing Experience

Today is Sunday 1-29-12 There has been a change in the central point stake. David Wright, one of my best friends and spiritual leader has been set apart from being a stake president and so have his counselors. The new counselors are brother dixon and frank grant. My dad is now the stake president. The spirit was strong. I have never felt so much emotion in my life. Some people asked me, what do you think of your dad being stake president? I said I hope to make it through this. I want to be a better man and son of my heavenly father. I want to do whatever I can in my power to make his calling easier for him. I want to do things at home in such a way that it can be a peaceful place. I have hopes that I can find happiness in difficult circumstances. David and Cynthia wright had a talk that was very inspiring. Well that is as much as I can give. There will be more info about me soon. I wish you all a great week.

Hello everybody!

I need to know how many of you are coming to the family reunion in order to finalize plans. So if you are undecided ~ DECIDE! We hope that you all can come for at least some of the time. If you really don't know for sure at least let me know that much and how many are in your family. Thank you!

Well ~ I am making progress. I have included everyone I think except Jamie Doman and Josh Green because I don't have their address, but please send it along if you have them.
The plans for the reunion are still the same: June 23, 24, 25, with a Mt. Shasta Hike planned for the 27, 28 and for those who want to make the trip to Malad, Thurs. 26th leave to attend the Welsh festival on the 27, 28th. We have a "lodge" lined up 6000 sq ft with 6 bdrooms, 2 full kitchen, 2 very large living areas, a full wrap around deck, with a spectacular view of the valley and city of medford all the way to Ashland. (thanks to wonderful friends who will vacate and go to the lake for the week!)

I would like everyone to contribute ideas that would help in planning (those will small children, the few ligit teenagers left in the bunch, the "overgrown" teenagers who have kids, and then we who think we can do everything but have a "few" limitations!) that will make this a fun and memorable time with Gma and Gpa Allen (the V's). I will be checking the blog and truly I stink at this blog business, but I am a gamer! I will learn as I go!
